Tamim and Mominul started the day with momentous task at their hands, Tamim fell early in the first over off Imran Khan, for 42, Mahmudullah also fell early for 2, and Shakib survivor of the first innings fell victim to a lofted shot in the first over of Hafeez, Mominul Haque reached his 11 consecutive fifty and became the 4th batsman after Sehwag, Gambhir and Viv Richards to register fifty-plus scores in 11 successive tests.
